Notes: This engine has the LSX 8-bolt crank flange. Assembly does not include any electronics or an oil pan. This engine is not designed, nor intended to be used in any marine applications. Designed for pre-1976 street vehicles or any off-road vehicle. Engines installed in vehicles registered and normally operated outside of the United States carry no warranty. Aftermarket or custom coil brackets must be used.
Chevrolet Performance LSX 454 long block crate engines are built with an all-forged, super-tough rotating assembly and feature a pair of new deep-breathing LSX 6-bolt cylinder heads. They also come dressed with great looking, all-new orange powdercoated valve covers with an engraved LSX 454 logo. With a carburetor and high-flow Chevrolet Performance intake manifold (sold separately), these engines are good for about 627 hp and 586 lbs.-ft. of torque. Due to the number of application variations, the LSX 454 crate engines do not include an oil pan, and the valve covers do not include provisions for mounting the ignition coil brackets.
