The ATS switches from utility to generator power. Power management ensures your home’s essential appliances and circuits have power when they need it.
Where temperatures fall below 30 degrees Fahrenheit, install a Briggs and Stratton Cold Weather Kit. The 6567 Generator Cold Weather Kit allows easier starts in temperatures below freezing with a battery warmer and oil heater. In below freezing temperatures, the battery warmer provides more power for starting the generator. Warm oil lubricates better which prolongs engine life and makes it easier to start.
Installation requires the use of a Carbon Monoxide Detector inside the home to guard against CO Poisoning.
