Engine Power Triple-Threat 1973 Camaro Engine Chassis and Brakes Combos
Engine Power’s Mike Galley and Pat Topolinski scored a stone-stock 1973 Camaro LT in fantastic shape. Naturally, they transformed the car into a machine that can handle the ‘triple threat’— drag racing, road racing, and autocrossing.
Mike and Pat had a full perimeter-frame chassis custom-built for the Camaro. The front suspension features tubular A-arms, Wilwood drop spindles, and QA1 Proma-Star coilover shocks. Out back is a parallel 4-link with another set of QA1 coilovers. The chassis is stiffened with a Ridetech TigerCage roll cage, and the brakes are Wilwood discs front and rear. And to round out the Engine Power Triple-Threat 1973 Camaro engine chassis and brakes combo, a pair of Detroit Speed Mini-Tubs make room for bigger rear tires.
